Here’s a post with random stuff:
1 - Semi-Formal last night was a lot of fun. I had a great time at it. Eventually, I will put up some pictures.
2 - The weather is really starting to annoy me now. First, it was in the 70 on like Thursday, then by Saturday it was cold and rainy. When is the summer going to start?
3 - The TV show 24 is higly adictive. I’ve seen the first four seasons of it now, and I love it. I’m waiting for the current season to end, so I watch that as well.
4 - Last by not least, sleep is great for you. You don’t realize it, but after getting only 4 hours of sleep for a couple of days in a row, and then getting a solid 9 hours, you feel much more relaxed and happy. It is simply an awesome feeling when you wake up.
5 - Finally, and this is perhaps most important: What’s next?

No this is not a post about investing, and finance, it is a post on something much deeper. We all do everything for a reason, to get something in return. No one will do anything for free, no matter what they say, they expect something in return. If the ROI isn’t meeting your expectation, there are two things that you can do at that point. Either you can just drop the whole matter, or the better idea would be stop putting in any more effort, and just reap whatever is left at that point. There is no point in pursuing something when it is not worth the work/effort/investment you are putting into it. If you start examining things on a ROI basis, a lot of things that you do will change. Your decision making process will not remain the same at that point.
This is just me ranting and raving like I usually do on my blog… expect a lot more of it soon.

As an aside; it looks like Decision 2.10 is still valid and still in effect at point. An ROI analysis definitely played a crucial roll in this.

If you are going to do something, then you should do it correctly. But what does doing something correctly mean; it is kind of vague… In my opinion, is that you should meet, or beat the expectation of you at that point. Let me expand a bit more on this, and give an example. Much of what follows, if not all, is hypothetical, take what you want from this disclaimer.
Say for example, you have a hot date. When you go out, both of you have certain expectation for the night, and what the other person will do. At the very least, the correct thing to do, would to make sure she has a fun time, and that you meet her expectations for the night. Doing what some guys do, in having a backup person call them to ditch their date is kinda shallow, and pointless; you never know what might happen if you stick around for the rest of the night, and let events play out.
Basically, I guess what I’m trying to say is that whenever you have the chance to do something; put your best effort into it. Don’t give yourself the chance to regret your decisions; and say “Dang, if I had tried harder, I might have done so much better.” I don’t know, people might not agree with me on this, but this is my personality, and I’ll stick by it, until I come up with something better.
