So I was going to write about the iPhone from Apple, but then everyone is talking about that. So why add to that? I guess this will be a boring post about what I’ve been doing the last few days… I’ve been working on studying for the GMATs all over again; taking them this Saturday. Beyond that, I’ve been working on one of my new year resolutions, the hardest one of them I think. I’m talking about making money using the internet. For the last two weeks, I’ve been using a site called Rent-A-Coder. Basically this site lets me bid on projects that people post up that they want done. So, using my knowledge of the internet, PHP, MySQL, and such I’ve been trying to win some projects and make some money.
I guess that’s all for now… I’ll post more when there’s something interesting to post…

I watched The Lion King the other night on Broadway; it was a spectacular show. My brother got us front row center seats and they were amazing. The show itself was very good. I loved how the actors came off stage at times, at the start of the show, there was a procession of animals that came down through the orchestra section. The costumes were very well put together, made it very easy to imagine there were actual animals and not people. Overall, I enjoyed the show; not sure where it ranks in the shows that I’ve seen, but its up there in the top 5.
And here is an updated list of the Broadway shows I’ve seen (the ones that I remember):
- The King and I - Back in middle school
- Le Miserable - High School French class
- Man of La Mancha - part of orientation week at Stern
- Rent - Freshman year as a part of Stern Scholars
- Fiddler on the Roof - Stern Summit on Global Business
- Monthy Python’s Spamalot
- Wicked x2
- Sweeney Todd
- Jersey Boys
- One Man Star Wars
- The Lion King

Thirteen Places I’d like to visit
- California - I was there for a day, and didn’t get a chance to see anything. It would be great if I could go visit west coast since I’ve lived all my life on the East coast.
- Alaska - seems like a cool (haha) place to go and check out
- Europe - I’ve always wanted to backpack around somewhere, and Europe seems like the perfect place. Get a Eurorail pass and go around the whole continent.
- Paris - I know I already said Europe, but I definatly want to visit Paris, get a chance to take in all the sights, and see the wonderful city
- Antarctica - I recently watched Happy Feet
and it would be awesome to see penguins up close
- India - I was born there, but I’ve never seen all the “good” places there. I only saw the Taj Mahal the last time I was there, and I know I’m missing out on a lot of things, so I would love to go and see the rest of the country
- England - I want to see Stonehenge
- Scotland - Just because of Highlander and Braveheart
- Hawaii - ah.. no particular reason
- Ireland - again no particular reason
- China - the biggest country… should check it out sometime…
- Russia - only because they defaulted on their local currency debt…
- Japan - Tokyo seems like an amazing city

I decided that I should write down my resolutions for this year so I don’t forget them, and I can hold myself to them later on. So here they are in no particular order:
- Go to the gym three days a week
- Maintain my weight at around 160 to 170, I’ve been at this weight since the end of HS, and want to stay around it
- Keep my cholesterol in check
- Read for fun
- Write more on this blog… keep posting during the school year
- Use the Internet to make money - not sure how I’m going to do this, but I want to make money off the internet
That’s all I can think of right now… I might post more if I think of something to add
