  1. Power Cord for my laptop - used to have a lot more power cords when I had my desktop
  2. Speakers :-) gotta have music in order to work
  3. Ton of papers spread out over the rest of the desk, at most times it is hard to see what color the wood is underneath…
  4. Cell Phone
  5. Bluetooth headset for said phone
  6. dust… lotta dust under my desk :-( I really should clean it…
  7. Printer, which I rarely use because I can print everything out at Stern for free
  8. My bed… I am in a fairly small dorm, so my bed is right next to my desk
  9. Alarm clock to wake me up in the mornings
  10. Laptop bag to carry my laptop with me to school for work
  11. Lot of textbooks for my various classes
  12. DVDs… the handful of DVDs that I actually own are on my desk within easy access
  13. Last but not least, notes from class, clubs, and various activities are on my desk as well

Review: Salaam-E-Ishq

Published by AnksConsulting LLC under blog

Salaam-E-Ishq is an Indian movie based on a similar principal as Crash showing the connections between various strangers. This movie, like most Indian movies is heavily based on love. Salaam-E-Ishq is examines love through six stories, six couples and their views on relationships and love. I won’t go into details about each story, but each couple looks at love in a different way, and deal with relationships in a different manner.

The pairings of the couples work well. Overall, it is a good movie; parts of it are drawn out too long, resulting in a three and half hour movie. Some parts could have easily been cut and replaced with something that brings the stories together more. While at the end, the stories do merge, it could have been done better. The songs are excellent, and work great with the pace and the story of the movie. In the end, watch this movie if you have plenty of free time, but it is nothing amazing.
