I am Legend is the new Will Smith movie where he is the Last Human on Earth. I really wanted to watch this movie because it was filmed at NYU for a while last year, and after seeing Smith around campus I wanted to watch it. Overall, it was a decent movie, good mix. The action scenes were great and the the acting by Smith is great; it really shows what a person deals with when they go through three years without other human interaction.
Despite these good points, the movie takes a hit on the ending. I felt the ending was “meh.” There could have been many other possible ways to end the movie, and I felt the movie didn’t pull through at the very end. Overall, I would recommend watching the movie, but I don’t think it is worth watching on the big screen. Wait until the DVD is out before watching it.

I didn’t come up with this, it has been on the internet for a couple of years now.
The Question: How many 5 year-olds could you take on at once?
Details:
So what do you think? How many could you take?

Over the past few nights, I’ve been setting up a home media/file server. It is finally working correctly now; any computer on my home network can connect to it, and share files through it. Plus, my Playstation 3 can get the streaming media off it as well. It is a little box sitting my room running Kubuntu, with Samaba and uShare. I’ve also set it so that I can SSH into it to control it, so I don’t need a monitor or keyboard attached to it anymore.
Next step, is installing some more ram and a new hard drive onto it. The ram should make it much more responsive and faster, and the hard drive will just give us that much more space to share stuff on. I’ve placed the order for the supplies through Newegg, and they should arrive soon.

Since I recently upgraded my cell phone service to include internet and email, I wanted to set up a way to update my blog with my phone. After searching on Google, I found a couple of scripts that might work, but they wouldn’t work with Movable Type 4. They were designed for older versions. I also found third party applications and scripts that required me to sign up elsewhere and connect my blog to that. Nothing that did what I wanted.
So, the easy thing was just create something that works myself. All I have to do, is send an email from my cell phone to a special address, and a few minutes later it will show up on the front page.
