Logical Eccentricity

I watched Wall-E this weekend; it is a wonderful movie. It is an animated movie about two robots that fall in love. While it might sound corney, Pixar did an amazing job with the animation to make the characters very believable. Everyone enjoyed the movie that watched with me, and I would highely suggest you watch it.

So, this weekend marks the start my house hunting in earnest. I’ve been looking online at a couple of websites, but on Saturday I actually went to visit one of the places at an open house. Honestly, it was disappointing. The rooms were pretty small, basically you have your bed in there, and not much more. Overall the place was big, but because of the layout, the space was not effectively used. The highlight of the place was the kitchen; granite countertops, with stainless steel appliances and cherry wood finished cabinets. Either way, it is a start, and we’ll see what place I find in the end.

I’m sure all of you know of all the usual last minute deals; but I found a couple of new ones that you might not have used before. It’s all by the same company/site but is broken down by popular regions. So for example, you’ve got United State Hotels, and then more specifically Los Angeles Hotels, New York City Hotels, and San Francisco Hotels.

I haven’t purchased any hotels through this site yet, but I have been searching for price information. So far it looks very promising for future use. And since I’m going to need a vacation soon, I’ll probably put this site to good use, and I’ll post a more extensive review at that point.

I’m doing to be starting a little project in the next few months and I need some help with it. I need a whole lot of beer bottle caps. So, if you’re a beer drinker, do you think you could hang on to the caps and I’ll figure out some way to get them from you?

This was an excellent weekend. I was planning on going down to the beach, Robert Mosses, out on Long Island on Saturday. But when we all woke up, we realized that while it was warm outside, it was not hot enough to warm the water to comfortable level. Instead we decided to go to Six Flags, as the weather was better for rollercosters. As we’re driving through the city, and into Jersey we realize that we’ll get to Six Flags too late to really enjoy it before having to get back for a party that night. So, again our plans change and we head to Atlantic City.

In the end, the day ended up being wonderful; it was great spending time with family; there’s no other way we all would have been in that confined of an area for that long of a time. Hopefully next weekend can be just as eventful.
