Logical Eccentricity

1. Greeting card writer - it would be cool to sit around the whole day and think of witty comments and remarks to put in greeting cards.
2. Kindergarten teacher - recently volunteered through junior Achievement and it was so cool teaching little kids and it would be a great job to have
3. Travel around the world - I know this is not a real job, but wouldn’t it be awesome if that were your job? If you got paid to just travel to new places all the time?
4. Postal worker - just to see what makes postal workers “go postal…”
5. Sorting mail in a post office - ever since I saw Men in Black 2 I’ve wanted to see how it actually works, if there is an alien sitting in the machine sorting the mail
6. Astronaut - I want to go into space. I’ve wanted to be an astronaut since middle school when we had to a report on what we wanted to be when we grew up
7. Sniper - I know it sounds really weird that I’d want to be a sniper, but if you have ever seen the movie “Clear and Present Danger,” you’ll know why. In one scene, the sniper makes it within like 5 yards of the commanders while the people searching for him are looking a good 15 yards behind his position. That, and “Enemy at the Gates” was another great sniper movie
8. Singer - I’m a terrible singer, but it would be a cool job to have to go around singing all the time
9. CIA Agent - throughout middle and high school I was reading Tom Clancy novels about Jack Ryan, and since then I’ve wanted to work for the CIA or the NSA.
10. Writer for television shows - there are so many good tv shows out there and it would an amazing opportunity to contribute to them, but beyond just that, writing new shows and improving current shows that aren’t so good would be fun
11. Photography teacher - I love photography, and my teacher this past semester was so laid back and chill. It seems like a great combination of imparting knowledge and having fun
12. A doctor - saving people’s lives… very cool… only problem is I don’t like blood… that might be a slight problem…
13. Time Traveler - again, not a real job, but I would love to travel in time, see the future, go into the past and watch various events taking place

1. Power Cord for my laptop - used to have a lot more power cords when I had my desktop
2. Speakers gotta have music in order to work
3. Ton of papers spread out over the rest of the desk, at most times it is hard to see what color the wood is underneath…
4. Cell Phone
5. Bluetooth headset for said phone
6. dust… lotta dust under my desk I really should clean it…
7. Printer, which I rarely use because I can print everything out at Stern for free
8. My bed… I am in a fairly small dorm, so my bed is right next to my desk
9. Alarm clock to wake me up in the mornings
10. Laptop bag to carry my laptop with me to school for work
11. Lot of textbooks for my various classes
12. DVDs… the handful of DVDs that I actually own are on my desk within easy access
13. Last but not least, notes from class, clubs, and various activities are on my desk as well

Here are thirteen random things that I’m happy about because of spring break

1. A week off from school,
2. where I don’t need to get up at 7:20 for an 8am class
3. Sleeping more than 7 hours a night
4. Watching TV on the big screen TV that my parents have
5. Playing with new laptop (Lenovo Z61m), and setting that up as my main computer
6. New cell phone (Motorola RIZR Z3, Black)
7. I will finally have time to work on my independent study project
8. Continue making money through Rent-A-Coder
9. Start planning my birthday party for Friday March 23rd…
10. It is Spring Break, need I say more?
11. New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie coming out very soon
12. Midnight showing of 300 tonight
13. And the best for last, it is SPRING! almost summer, and almost time to go to the beach

1. Keeps my updating my blog
2. Forces me to have something interesting, at least once a week
3. Gives me more blogs to read
4. Its a good way to take a break from doing work, and come up with a list
5. I just started this recently, and would hate to see it end this soon
6. Lets me share something about myself each week
7. I’m a strong proponent of writing things down to get them out of your system, and this is good outlet for that
8. Thursday Thirteen is a good meme, and don’t want to see it die
9. While I haven’t done this yet, these and other people’s lists can be the basis of another post later in the week
10. This is helping me keep one of my resolutions to update my blog more often this year
11. I have to come up with 13 things, I can’t stop at 10
12. I should write more often, write as in creative writing
13. Is it bad for me to be happy that I am getting a lot new incoming links to my blog through this?
